How to sync the DreamTeam Calendar with Google Calendar
Follow these steps to sync the DreamTeam calendar with Google Calendar for easy access to team schedules.
Step 1: Get Your Calendar Link from DreamTeam
- Login to DreamTeam at https://app.dreamteam.io/login
- Navigate to People > Calendar
- Click "Sync Calendar"
- Copy the link for the calendar group you want to sync. You can choose from:
- All Employees - View everyone's calendar in your organization
- My Team - View calendars for your immediate team members
- My Direct Reports - View calendars for people who report directly to you
Step 2: Add the Calendar to Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar at https://calendar.google.com/
- Scroll down to the "Other calendars" section in the left sidebar
- Click the "+" button next to "Other calendars"
- Select "From URL"
- Paste the URL you copied from DreamTeam
- Click "Add calendar"
What to Expect
Your DreamTeam calendar will now appear in the "Other calendars" section of Google Calendar, and it's events will appear in the main Google Calendar view. Please note that initial synchronisation may take a few minutes.
Customising the Calendar Name
To make the calendar easier to identify:
- Click the three dots (...) next to the calendar name in your "Other calendars" list
- Select "Settings"
- Change the name to something more recognisable (e.g., "Team Schedule" or "Direct Reports Calendar")
Your DreamTeam calendar will now stay synchronised with Google Calendar, making it easy to view team availability alongside your personal schedule.
